What an excellent night. The interclub competition that was held against Holmfirth saw some absolutely stunning photographs. It was a close run competition however Penistone managed to take the lead with 84 points to Holmfirths 81 points.

Penistone Camera Club had a great day yesterday (Saturday) at the YPU Annual Exhibition, winning 3 of the major awards.
Mike Breedon won the G&S Neat Trophy for best Natural History Colour Print With Red Squirrel
Brian Parkhurst won The Challenge Plaque for best Natural History B&W Print with Taraxadum Offinal Dissected
Dr Usman Jawad won The Bryce-Thompson Cup for the Best Pictorial Projected Image with Ghost Train. This image goes on to the PAGB representing the YPU
David White received a certificate for Royal Angel Fish

At the recent presentation dinner which was held at the Strafford Arms, Stainborough. The winner of the Photographer of the Year Mike Breedon was presented with the POTY Shield by the Chairman Paul Cartwright.
