Sheffield KO Competition
19th March 2010
What an evening for Penistone in the first competition of the season, from 24 clubs entered into the competition Penistone came 9th scoring 10 points. That is very good considering there were 120 images entered into the competition. The judge looks through the images and eliminates half of them after which the rest go into the second round. This goes on till round five where there are 5 images left, the images gain a point for every round they stay in. At the last five images the judge then picks the first and second place images.
Congratulations to the winning club who was Worksop and District Photographic Society who scored 18 points, Also to Stocksbridge Camera Club another local club who came second with 15 points.
Well done all the authors that entered their images into the competition and also a big thank you to Malcolm our Competition Secretary who organised everything and to John the Club Secretary for going to the competition and making this report. -
