A few weeks ago we went over to Lincoln for a short weekend break. It was a first for me, I’d never been to Lincoln before.

A few shoutout’s from the weekend.

Accommodation: Premier Inn, Lincoln Centre. At roughly £45 for the night you can’t complain.

Breakfast: The Angel Coffee House. The best Cheese Toastie i have ever had!

Sights: Lincoln Cathedral, well worth a visit.

Activity: Historic Lincoln Free Walking Tour, Run by local enthusiasts and 3 hours of interesting history around the historic centre.

Favourite Walk: up the Steep Hill. A charming street with 12th century homes and shops.

Other places visited: Lincoln Museum and the Usher Gallery, Museum of Lincolnshire Life, interesting independant shops and cafes.
