It was late when I got to my hotel last night. I knew my room overlooked Waterloo station and the City of London, it was too black outside to photograph, so I set my alarm ready for a sunrise shoot.
This morning, however, after an early breakfast I was back to my room ready to pack up. The sky was just beginning to lighten up and I was greeted by the view looking east over the city as the day began too come to life. The dawn over London this morning was spectacular.

Penistone Camera Club was established in 1967 by a group of people passionate about photography. One of the founder members Joe Windle enjoyed capturing the local area and landscape. Joe’s legacy lives on in the club with a trophy dedicated to him.
